The Universal Group has been developing several projects related to renewable energies and is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for the Portuguese Office to work closely with senior management and executive staff.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and expense reports.
Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decisionmaking processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Fluence in the written and spoken English Language;
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
