As a Big Data Professional, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, leverage the latest technologies, and drive innovation in big data solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable big data solutions and infrastructure. Architect end-to-end big data systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and expertise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement best practices for data management, data quality, and data security. Optimize and tune big data solutions for performance and efficiency. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of big data systems using DevOps principles and tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data engineering, architecture, DevOps, or related roles. Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, etc. Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, etc.

Understand client needs and requirements and translate these into data management and data integration solutions and architectures in line with client's business needs.

Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS. Solid understanding of distributed computing principles, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts. Fluent in English ANDFrench. Must be aPortuguese citizen ORhave a work permit for Portugal.


Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in relevant big data technologies or architectures. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts. Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Flink, Storm, etc.
