We are looking for a talented & enthusiastic laboratory technician to strengthen our team in Maia – Portugal.

You will assist in making chemical formulations & applications to textile substrates and performing characteristics of textile substrates according BU management definition priorities.

• Carry out the necessary quality control laboratory measurements (QC control) and ensures a proper reporting to Technical & Sales Managers
• Carry out laboratory applications and other related testing
• Prepares chemical formulations to be applied onto textile fabrics
• Responsible for the receipt of samples for test and entry of associated data into laboratory database
• Enters test results into laboratory database, produces reports and communicates these results to Technical Manager
• Responsible for preparation of all reagents and materials used in testing
• Responsible for organisation, cleanliness of lab and maintaining stocks of consumable materials
