POSITION SUMMARY:

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a proven track record in systems administration and a strong passion for automation.
Your role will be pivotal in automating our infrastructure, streamlining our operations, and ensuring that our services run like a well-oiled machine.
You'll be the backbone of our SRE team, wielding tools like Ansible and Terraform to craft robust, repeatable, and resilient systems.
These will be your key responsibilities:
Develop, scale, and manage our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
Champion automation across the organization, eliminating manual operations and toil wherever possible.
Design and implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies to anticipate and address issues before they impact our customers.
Lead incident response efforts, and contribute to post-mortem analysis and process refinement to prevent future outages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for service rollout and management.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SRE team members in best practices in systems administration and automation.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator/systems engineer with a strong focus on SRE practices.
Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and Linux operating systemsExperience with scripting languages (such as Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude.
