About the role We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join the team who is part of a long-term program with our customer, a leader in the automotive technology sector.

Joining us as a Senior QA Engineer in this team puts you at the heart of this project, working closely with our customers every day.

You will be responsible for defining and creating test cases based on the customer requirements using a variety of tools and technologies.

Being dedicated to quality results requires a good understanding of modern design principles, and an ability to communicate and deliver comprehensive automated testing solutions, which is why we need experienced QA Engineers, able to ensure these critical requirements are handled well.

Responsibilities Enable the continuous improvement of the quality and reliability of solutions delivered by the development team Design and create automated test suites (Unit, Component, and End-to-End) Optimize, expand, and monitor results of existing test suites Define test cases based on the customer's requirements and a detailed knowledge of the solution Implement CI/CD processes for the scheduled execution of test suites Work with Agile teams that deliver high-quality solutions Define and execute best practices Skills and qualifications You will have at least 5+ years of experience working with Agile software delivery teams as an Automation QA or in a similar role, with a consultative background or a real desire to be customer-facing.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and SDLC (Software Delivery Lifecycle) Hands-on experience with Appium on web, standalone and mobile applications Hands-on experience with C# Selenium Web Driver, NUnit, XUnit and Git mstest Experience with Continuous integration and build tools Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of good modern software design practices Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools Very good level of English -written and spoken Working at Ascent This is a hybrid role, where you can spend time at the office or working from home.
