As the first People Team hire in our newly opened Lisbon office, this position will play a crucial part in embedding proSapient's culture whilst establishing a first-class people experience for all employees in the region.


Working under the direction of the Senior People Partner, you will be the first point of contact for all People related queries and initiatives in your region, partnering closely with local stakeholders, managers, and employees to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment that aligns with our values whilst also promoting employee engagement and productivity.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Ensure our new joiners are set up accurately and promptly and live the best preemployment experience possible. This will include producing contracts of employment, IT Helpdesk tickets and running various preemployment checks.
  • Ensure our new starters are kept engaged from offer all the way through to their start date.
  • Act as the point of contact throughout our new joiner's induction, working closely with a variety of stakeholders to organise, develop and execute our onboarding programme.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees in the Lisbon office, advising on a range of employee relations matters, escalating when necessary to the Senior People Partner.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that are compliant with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Partnering with the Senior People Partner and Legal team to ensure that all HRrelated documentation is accurate and up to date for the Lisbon office.
  • Act as a superuser on our HRIS (Rippling) to ensure all employee information is accurate and correctly recorded.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the stakeholders you frequently collaborate with across the business, including but not limited to IT, Finance, Business Operations, Project Excellence, Talent, Office Management and Client Service teams.
  • Act as first point of contact for all payroll, compensation, and benefit queries at a local level.
  • Manage the probationary period process for all local employees, using 15Five to set performance cycles; manage passes, extensions and fails and sending outcome documentation.
  • Partner with the wider EMEA People team, to support our various PO initiatives and projects including L&D, performance management, employee engagement and more
  • All other duties as and when required.

Requirements:


The key experience needed for this role are:

  • Sound experience in a core HR or People role, supporting a varied group of stakeholders and employees
  • Experience working in a startup/ scaling business is preferred for this role
  • Sound knowledge of Portuguese employment law and policies.

The key competencies needed for this role are:

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills in both Portuguese and English.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a keen sense of urgency.
  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be a team player
