Job Description:


The position will manage the Evolution Lisbon Engineering Hub and will be responsible for co-creation and implementation of the company strategy in terms of product delivery, budget, teams' skills and development.

Site Manager will take part in setting up goals, and will cooperate or supervise engineering and back office activities.


Key responsibilities:

  • Defining targets and roadmaps, delivery and output of the hub, allocation of projects working closely with Engineering management and stakeholders.
  • Managing highly qualified local teams: Product Delivery Managers, Leads, HR and Employer Branding.
  • Supervising work of the multiple product teams. Capacity and workload planning to ensure effective allocation of resources based on priorities and skills.
  • Supervising Talent Attraction and development activities to hire and maintain strong talent within the Hub.
  • Readiness and ability to guide, coach or mentor whenever required.
  • Cultivating Evolution culture, mission and values.
  • Organizing workplace, internal and external events.

Qualifications:


  • Good knowledge base of the country/region, and a willingness to learn.
  • Over 5+ years of leadership experience as Engineering Manager, in an international & dynamic work environment and a demonstrated ability to independently run an organization of 50+ people.
  • Experience in leading multiple Product teams and delivering Products as per agreed roadmaps.
  • Experience in the iGaming industry is an advantage.
  • Fluent English language, written and spoken.
  • Fluent Portuguese language, written and spoken.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
  • Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.
  • Sensitivity to different cultural norms.
