    About the role As a Change and Release Manager, you are someone who takes ownership and makes an impact by understanding what the needs of the business are, adjusting all the processes, practices, and resources, influencing behaviors, and contributing to an agile and reliable environment.

    You will be joining the Service Reliability Managers team and will be responsible for improving releases, changes, and incident processes through automation in Jira as a user (specifically in Jira's automation capability).

    You might also be involved in overall processes definition in the Operations and Support areas, along with Operational Readiness processes for services' onboarding.

    You are someone who lives in the digital world, is very comfortable with Agile practices, and has experience in DevOps environments.

    You will play a key role in the success of the organization and will be part of a team whose focus is the continuous improvement, efficiency of the processes, and reliability of the systems.

    As a part of your job, you will:

    • Engage with stakeholders throughout the change process, building relationships, and maintaining open lines of communication.
    • Focus on process management (responsibility and accountability) and lessons learned to improve the system's reliability;
    • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the reliability processes;
    • Identify leaks in the end-to-end business flows and define metrics to be implemented;
    • Implement continuous improvement processes to reduce the technical debt;
    • Support Operations and Development teams to deliver technical or functional improvements;
    • Develop and implement change management strategies, which may involve identifying the key stakeholders, defining the scope and objectives of the change, and creating a plan for implementing the change;
    • Develop a detailed plan for implementing the change, which may involve defining timelines, identifying resources, and outlining specific tasks and activities;
    • Communicate the change to all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers, and ensure that they understand the reasons for the change and how it will impact them;
    • Manage resistance to change by identifying and addressing any resistance to the change, and working with stakeholders to overcome any obstacles to implementation;
    • Monitor the progress of the change initiative, evaluating its success, and identifying areas for improvement;
    • Implement metrics-driven processes to ensure service quality targets are met.
    What are we looking for?

    • Demonstrate an agile mindset and a critical thinking attitude, to identify potential roadblocks and develop solutions to overcome them;
    • Knowledge/contacts in past experiences with the SRE/DevOps area;
    • Experience as a Service Manager, Change Manager, and/or Release Manager;
    • Experience in mastering Jira as a user and specifically with the Jira Automations capability;
    • Strategic thinking skills to ensure a deep understanding of the organization's goals and objectives, with the ability to develop and implement a change strategy that aligns with these goals;
    • Be familiarized with working with Kanban;
    • Strong communication skills, positive communication, as it's expected to communicate with all areas of the organization, from stakeholders from the technical area to others in the management area, whether in the context of the changes, releases, or improvements to the processes;
    • Demonstrate leadership skills, to motivate and inspire stakeholders to embrace the change and work collaboratively towards a common goal;
    • Business acumen, deep understanding of the business and industry they operate in, including emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activity;
    • Capacity to influence the teams to have an SRE mindset and reduce the time to market;
    • Demonstrate a proactive, open-minded, and positive attitude;
