About the Job

Integrating the BNP Paribas Portugal Finance & Tax Team, the Accounts Receivable Officer will provide a dedicated support to all the hosted services being focused on the invoicing process: issuance, of invoices to our internal client, controls, followup of the recovery process, investigation and KPIs on unpaid invoices.

Your main Activities are

Contribute to the production of the invoices recharging Portugal services to all other BNPP entities worldwide
Followup on the open items (unpaid invoices) and rationalisation the reason for non payment
Remediate the open items, by completing missing information on the invoices, or sending back a lost invoices, or chasing the contract signature refered to in the invoice if not done, etc.

Profile and Skills to Success

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting
Until 2 years of experience
Proficient with MS Office
Excel and PowerPoint
Attention to detail/rigor
Great communicator both orally and written
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Analytical ability
Ability to collaborate/teamwork
Available for a temporary mission (expected for 6 months)

About the Team

Our mission is to cover all aspects related to accounting, performance management, tax and invoicing in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring among several other aspects that BNP Paribas' ¬financial statements are in compliance with the Portuguese legislation, and providing support for management decisions. This may include advising on local finance transaction. Besides the local business of the branch, we provide a dedicated support to all the hosted services.
