- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and spot opportunities for integrating new features.
- Evaluate the feasibility and impact of new technologies on current and future products.
- Lead experiments and pilot projects to assess the effectiveness of new features.
- Utilize PLC programming skills to design control systems for integrating new technologies.
- Work with engineering teams for seamless integration of new features and technologies.
- Develop test plans to validate functionality of new features using PLC programming.
- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and share industry insights.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute recommendations to the team.
- Document findings, insights, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
- Proven experience in automation engineering with a focus on integrating new technologies.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, robotics, and control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages like ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram programming.
- Experience in hardware and software integration, sensors, controllers, and communication protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking to overcome challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to learning and staying updated on automation advancements.
- Prior experience in a similar role within manufacturing, robotics, or automation is advantageous.
