We arenow looking for a System Administrator (m/f/d) to join our internalIT Operations team at our location in Heidelberg with immediateeffect. A later start date is also possible.

These are your tasks

• Installation, configuration andtroubleshooting of our server operating systems: You install andmaintain our server operating systems (Linux) and the associatedsoftware
• Network administration: You takecare of the configuration, monitoring and maintenance of ournetworks
• Responsibility for our security:maintaining our firewall to protect our data, systems and networksis one of your most important tasks
• Systemmonitoring and optimization: You monitor the performance andavailability of our systems to troubleshoot and optimize them
• Automation: By automating recurring systemprocesses, you ensure greater efficiency in system administration(IaC)
• Supporting the IT development team:for larger in-house IT developments, you are the interface forensuring compatibility with our infrastructure

What you bring with you

• At least three years of professionalexperience in IT operations and network administration
• Experience in the configuration and implementation ofLinux (Debian) systems
• Experience in thesupport of network structures (HP, Cisco) and firewalls (Fortinet,OPNsense)
• Experience with virtualizationtechnologies
• Good knowledge within theMicrosoft 365 environment (Azure/ Entra)
• Ideally knowledge of scripting and automation (Ansible, Terraform)and Kubernetes
• Fast and solution-orientedwork
• Service and team-oriented personalitywho communicates openly with others
• Verygood knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
