    JC Maintenance is currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to be based in Porto Airport, Portugal. The successful candidate will be working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair.

    Role:

    • Aircraft body structure and parts repair on Ryanair fleet aircraft, in according with approved maintenance data and procedures;
    • Performing metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting and bucking work;
    • Working with, amongst others, relevant equipment - Bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening, Drill or Grinder as usual working tools;
    • To find the most suitable repair solutions and implementation in according to the Maintenance Repair Manuals;
    • Any other duties as requested by your Shift Leader/ Hangar Manager.

    Requirements

    • Experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair is desirable;
    • Knowledge of technical drawing;
    • Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment;
    • Must be flexible, including availability to work overtime as and when required;
    • Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel;
    • Excellent communication skills - English is essential;
    • Good computer literacy;
    • Willing to work night/day shifts;
    • A valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union and a valid EU driver's license.
