He is responsible for the Quality Unit activities, monitoring the effective implementation of the Quality management System across the Organization according to relevant Norms, International Best Practices and legislation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Resource:
- Reviews and submits to the QHSE Director the mapping of the QAQC processes and QA activities.
- Reviews the Quality policies, guidelines, plans and procedures, ensuring their consistency with the business scenario and with stakeholders' needs, as well as their compliance with the applicable laws, standards and regulations.
- Identifies strategic Quality objectives, KPIs, aimed to improve the business performance through a processbased approach and the P¬D-CA cycle
- Prepares the Corporate Quality audit programs and together with his/her Team, manages the relationship with the thirdparties certification bodies.
- Cooperates with the HR and the BUs in order to verify the competence of the QA/QC resources assigned to the projects.
- Identifies the necessary training requirements for the QA/QC Personnel and proposes to the QHSE Director the training program.
- Monitors the status of significant Non-Conformities (including suppliers and subcontractors), verifying the effective implementation of the approved actions
- Coordinating His/Her Team, he/she promotes the sharing of the Quality policies, systems, procedures and standards and monitors their proper implementation across the Organisation;
- Ensures the timely information on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting corrective actions;
- Monitors the dissemination of QC standards across the projects
Work Experience Requirements:
- The Resource should have technical background (engineering) and internationally recognised qualification in Quality Management
- The Resource should be familiar with the best International practices/STD (e. g. ASTM, ASME, ACI, UPC, AWS, etc.)
- The job holder should have at least 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry (as PQM, QAQC Manager)
- IRCA (or equivalent) Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor Certification. ISO 9001
Soft Skills and Competencies:
- Fluent Level of Business English Language (C2 Level or equivalent)
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to create a friendly working environment
- Familiarity with Company Tools, Procedures and Process (Construction Management Systems, Document Management System, Project Control Standards, etc.)
