Job Description Summary


As the Demand Manager for the Europe region, you are responsible for leading and optimizing the Demand Planning function and processes.

Your core accountability lies in driving and enhancing demand plan performance for the region, which will enable key business decisions.

You play a pivotal role in shaping the company's success and competitiveness by ensuring accurate demand inputs, aligning supply chain operations with key business drivers, and supporting strategic projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the Demand Planning function and processes for all Business Units in Europe.
  • Drive and Improve demand plan performance by tracking and performing root cause analysis of forecast error and bias at various levels of detail.
  • Maintain any system parameters and/or forecasting process enablers. Facilitate and lead the Demand Consensus Meetings regionally ensuring business input and participation.
  • Ensure the accuracy of demand inputs into ERP and overall SIOP process.
  • Enable the demand plan process to support the AOP and 3Y with attention to key business drivers.
  • Support any strategic projects, as necessary.
  • Engage in the S&OP process, supporting the Sr. Manager, Regional Supply Chain in leading and developing the presentations and meeting reviews within the organization
Decision making

Typically, you have the authority to make decisions related to demand planning methodologies, approaches and demand planning development processes. You can also make decisions related to project execution, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation within budget.

Higher-level approvals are required for those related to significant budget allocations, strategic shifts, or major collaborations that have substantial financial or long-term implications.

Planning and aligning to execute is essential for managing multiple deadlines effectively.

It enables you to allocate resources, ensure activities are synchronized with demand plan cycle timelines, execute the demand planning cycle with precision, maximize productivity and achieve desired outcomes.- Collaboration: Effective collaboration ensures you can harness the collective expertise and insights of various stakeholders.

You can facilitate the exchange of ideas, align diverse perspectives, promote synergy, and increase the accuracy and speed of the demand planning cycle.


Technical Knowledge and Skills- Forecasting software experience required.- Demantra experience a plus.- Business Applications Knowledge (Advanced Excel).- Overall knowledge of Supply Chain.- Proven background in process improvement.- System implementation/upgrade experience.- Project Management skills.


Position Requirements- BA/BS college degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain.- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a demand planning role, preferably most recently at the senior level.- APICS or other Forecasting Certification preferred.- Strong communicator at all levels with specific experience presenting to C-suite.- Fluent in English, any other language welcomed.- Hybrid working.

Minimum 3 days a week in the office.- No travel required.
