Social Media & Ambassador Program Intern

We offer immersive short-term and long-term language courses and programs across different languages in the countries where they're spoken.

Together, our global staff help students from around the world develop the language skills they need to achieve their dreams.

Are you ready for a dynamic role in a truly international environment?

As Social Media & Ambassador Program Intern you will join the Lisbon team for the promotion of our language and academic courses abroad.

You will operate in a truly international environment with a dynamic team.

If you can demonstrate that you're a digital native, well-organized, and have a keen eye for content and a community management heart, we would love for you to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to further develop your skills, take ownership and share your ideas within a global network of like-minded individuals.

This opening is for a paid professional 6 months internship through IEFP from April 2026.

Key responsibilities:
Create content for our platforms as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Communicate and engage directly with EF students through social media
Organize brainstorming sessions
Identify good content and facilitate its transition for broader marketing purposes
Monitor comments and messages on social media

Collect and analyze essential user data to maximize the impact of our social media activities centrally and throughout the entire EF organization.

Collaborate closely with the team developing inspiring, relevant, and storytelling content.
Support and manage EF's Ambassador Program in Portugal
Engage with returning students to join and participate in the program
Track ambassador activity and reward participation through our points system
Redeem points for prizes and manage logistics

Requirements:
A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative
Proficient in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
Experience with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Experience with edition tools such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe programs or similar
Ideally, a former EF student
International experience (study/work) preferred
Creative, enthusiastic and organized
Strong communication skills
Comfortable working independently and in a team
Sales-minded and results-oriented
Eager to learn, grow and contribute
