Role Overview

We are looking for:


  • The data functional analyst is central within the data & analytics delivery lifecycle acting as a business translator and ensuring the products are aligned with and supporting the business outcomes. It is a key role to support the delivery of the data & analytics enablers and in the delivery of complex, challenging, and strategic key initiatives/products.
  • Solvay has embarked on a 10year program that aims at creating sustainable factories for the future through leveraging digital and data science. This role will have an active contribution to this program providing the strong functional analysis capability that is required to drive the implementation of the solutions to implement bestinclass digital journeys to achieve the Solvay Digital Strategy.

  • Acting as a business translator to develop data and analytics products
  • Provide functional expertise on data & analytics and specifically in Industrial
  • Supporting the delivery of complex, challenging, and strategically important initiatives and products
  • Mapping data and processes
  • Acting as an ambassador to the business analysis community and working closely with senior leaders and team members
  • Maturing the data functionality analysis capability including coaching and guiding junior members
  • Resolving issues that have an impact beyond your area
  • Playing an active role in the Agile delivery process
  • Supporting the adoption and resolution of issues during the hyper care phase
  • Communicating and documenting clear and unambiguous functional and nonfunctional business requirements
  • Delivering training and enduser documentation
  • Prioritizing and communicating with stakeholders

You will bring:


  • A Master's degree in IT, Business, or any relevant field
  • At least 6 years of experience in business analysis, functional analysis, and data & analytics
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment and with confluence and Jira tools
  • Knowledge of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide)
  • Excellent analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others, prioritize and communicate effectively
  • Resultsoriented, valuedriven, and focused on continuous learning
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical solutions in business terms
  • Experience working in an international environment with fluency in English.
