Personal Skills:
Candidates with experience in the developmentof firmware and software for embedded devices are preferred. The candidate willwork in close contact with hardware development, so know-how within this fieldwill be highly valued. Interest in industrial applications will be valued. Thecandidate must show excellent English communication skills.
Academic Qualifications:
Academic Master's degree or equivalent academic qualification in thearea of Electrical Engineering.
Other Skills:
Programmingskills in C and C++;
Experiencewith development for microcontrollers;
Experiencedebugging hardware using standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, powersupply, protocol analyser).
Professional Experience:
More than one year of professional experience or research experience inR&D projects and embedded electronics.
Job Description andResponsibilities:
The candidate will perform research activities within the Connected Things group, namely in the area of embeddedelectronics. The candidate is expected to contribute to current and futureprojects within the area of cognitively connected solutions.
The candidate will work on the following tasks:
Develop firmware and software for embeddeddevices;
Bring up, debug and test new hardware designs;
Write scientific (papers, reports, etc.)documentation.
