Manager - Sustainable Communities
Mission
This person will join the Services & Partnerships team within the Commercial Business Unit, and he/she will be responsible for the Sustainable Communities team, whose main mission is to establish Galp as a key player in building sustainable communities/multi-family homes, equipping them for the energy transition.
- In order to do that, the team will:
- Launch a relevant LECs business in both Portugal and Spain;
- Develop offer for multifamily homes (condominiums), leveraging existing Galp's businesses (gas & power, solar, emob, heatpumps, LECs, etc) and alongside respective teams;
- Explore B2B2C opportunities in these contexts, whenever relevant;
- Identify the key stakeholders, technological partners and decisionmakers, making sure the right partnerships are in place, and in coordination with remaining New Power teams.
What you'll do
- Lead a team focus in the development of services centered in local energy communities and condominum solutions.
- The team will need to define a winning value proposition, for both the Customer and for Galp, that enables the scaling of operations and positions Galp as a relevant player in these market segments.
- The shortmedium term objectives are to:
- Launch the first commercial LEC pilots in both Portugal and Spain;
- Launch a standard offer for condominiums in Portugal and in Spain;
- Define actionable roadmap for expanding offer in LECs and condominiums in both markets, mapping key stakeholders, decision makers and potential product & channel partnerships.

- Solid foundation in technical and business arenas, ability to learn and adapt quickly, and demonstrated ability to frame and drive business decisions.
- Creative, solution and clientoriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and experience in leading a team.
