The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years.

Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia.

With offices in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are recruiting for a
Systems Administrator.
As a
System Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems. You will work alongside other IT professionals to ensure that our systems and infrastructure are running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys solving complex technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Proven working experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox)
  • Networking experience (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, routing, and switching)
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Active Directory and Group Policy administration experience
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (python, bash, ruby)
  • Experience using and managing linux servers.
  • Experience with apache web servers.
  • Experience with server management software (Plesk, Cpanel)
  • Knowledge of DNS.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming (Java, C++, Python)
  • Knowledge of Windows and MacOs systems.
  • Experience in automating tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time in any tasks
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
