The Sourcing Specialist, German Speaker role is part of a dynamic and integrated Finance function delivering operational Finance specialist services.

The role will report directly to the Source to Pay (S2P) Lead and will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards.

Role Description

The Sourcing Specialist, German Speaker will coordinate a range of centralised administrative duties that will support operational purchasing departments. This role will provide procurement support and reports to the Source to Pay (S2P) Tower Lead. Engage with the business to understand scale of event required (i.e. price quote through to major RFP).

This includes conducting external market research and provide reports to the business.- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.- Use strategic sourcing strategies to negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods/services, deadlines, expectations, etc., obtaining quotes from different suppliers and evaluation of proposals.- Promote and support tactical sourcing by providing guidance on multiple preferred supplier options, assisting with benefits estimates for iterative sourcing opportunities to generate further savings.- Support tracking and supervising compliance for regulatory and both internal / external audit requirements.

Role Requirements- Degree level education or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or a Business-related field.- Proven experience in sourcing and handling vendors of varying size and demand.- Proficient in English (written and spoken).- Proficient in German (written and spoken). Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, processes, and workflow technology.- Experience from working in a Global procurement business center.- Knowledge in Coupa procurement system would be a plus.
