Adriana Santos

Recently graduated with a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, with experience in signal processing, biomaterials, and clinical engineering, I consider myself to have an analytical, critical, and results-oriented profile, with strong dedication, focus, and rigor in my work.

I completed 200 hours of hands-on experience in corrective and preventive maintenance of medical equipment, gaining practical knowledge in troubleshooting, calibration, and performance verification. This work involved ensuring the safety and reliability of biomedical devices, applying technical documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

I hold a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Aveiro. During my academic career, I developed projects in the areas of physiological signal processing and biomaterials, which were the focus of my final undergraduate project and my master's thesis. At the same time, I was actively involved in associations and events in the field, taking on leadership, communication, and logistics roles, which allowed me to consolidate technical and cross-cutting skills such as organization, teamwork, and project management.
