The Position
The Admin & Payroll Specialist is a full-time position in the HR Department, based at Bial Headquarters in Porto and reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Operations.
This role is responsible for processing and managing the company's payrolls and assuring data collection for different European geographies payroll and all admin related to it.
In this role, your responsibilities will include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing, and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
The Admin & Payroll Specialist plays an important role in contributing and performing tasks related with administrative and payroll people management in order to comply with mandatory legal demands and providing accurate data related to HR that serves Organizational purposes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting timesheet data and payroll information.
- Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
- Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
- Preparing and processing payments
- Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
- Preparing and distributing income statements.
- Responding to payrollrelated inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations.
- Preparing reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
- Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, etc.).
- Certified B2 level in English language.
- 4+ years of experience working in payroll, admin or a similar role.
- Experience working with accounting and Primavera payroll software.
- Experience in an international environment is a plus.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices.

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to work with a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
