We deal with the questions of tomorrow -for needs-based insurance for our more than 12 million customers -at our headquarters in Coburg in Upper Franconia and at our 38branch offices in the office and in the field.

    What you can look forward to

    • Design and maintenance of software in the BI environmentsuch as IBM InfoSphere DataStage or SQL Server Integration Services
    • Design and maintenance of data visualizationand reporting platforms such as IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI
    • Definition of technical requirements,architecture, security concepts and test strategies
    • Ongoing optimization of the application architecturebased on virtualization, cloud and container technology
    • Provision of tools based on the latest infrastructuretechnologies for data engineering, DevOps, etc.
    • 2nd level support and competent contact person, takinginto account the level of self-service per application/tool
    • Design, development and maintenance ofmonitoring and logging solutions for professional site reliabilityengineering

    What you bring withyou

    • Degree in (business)informatics, IT specialist training or professional experience in aBI environment
    • Good knowledge of operatingsystems, Linux (preferably RHEL) and/or Windows, network andstorage
    • Knowledge of Python, SQL, Docker,Infrastructure as Code, Software Defined Network & StorageCluster is an advantage
    • Experience in BIplatform engineering and BI architecture as well as in software /ETL development is an advantage
    • Englishlanguage skills with regard to the cooperation with our supportpartners
    • Ability to coordinate and manageactivities, special topics and projects in the area ofresponsibility
    • Goal- and result-orientedinitiative (e.g. independent work and active problem-solvingbehavior)
