    We are looking for a creative, deeply technical and customer-obsessed Senior Software Development Engineer to define and drive technology and architecture that defines the future of outbound recommendations.


    We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to provide technical leadership to architect, design and develop cutting edge technologies in the Books outbound recommendations.

    This leader will have exposure to the full architecture of the outbound recommendation experince, and will have an opportunity to work on the most challenging problems through the full stack and across services.

    We are looking for a passionate, talented, and innovative engineers who enjoys solving difficult problems and delivering high-performance, highly-available, and extremely scalable systems.

    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    Madrid, M, ESP

    • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
    • Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
    • Experience in professional, noninternship software development
    • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including objectoriented design
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
    • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
