- You will be part of an interdisciplinary team creating an IoT focussed App and the Cloud components for a platform;
- You will be responsible for the development and operations of a microservice that mobile and web apps will use;
- You will implement suitable messaging, storage mechanisms, and related items (data models, database choice and topologies, scaling foundation, etc.);
- Automate the deployment and operations of cloud infrastructure (Azure, Azure DevOps) by utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Education: Degree in Computer Engineering or similar;
- Experience: Experience with Java and SpringBoot, ideally also Kotlin or other modern languages. Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases as well as messaging technologies (ideally Kafka). Experience in Agile software development & operations;
- Know-How: Knowledge and interest in Cloud, IoT and CI/CD technologies; Knowledge on cloud automation (Pulumi or Terraform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Personality: Proactive, responsible and keen about technology. You have fun working with wonderful people on a diverse international team;
- Work style: Organized and analytical work style with a problem-solving mindset;
- Languages: Good communication skills in English;
- Willingness to travel and work as a part of an international team (for short periods, as required).
