As Senior Financial Analyst within the Group Consolidation & Reporting team, you are expected to engage with the Finance Vision, Mission and Commitment and ensure delivery on the key group finance consolidation & reporting activities, in alignment with the group policies and financial objectives.

You will be working within Group finance team, other local Finance teams and relevant stakeholders to identify and support business objectives by analysing, planning and executing the various group finance process, including monthly reporting, preparation of year end group audit, annual report issuance, group forecast & budget process.


In addition, you will work closely with OneERP project team for the SAP Group Reporting tool implementation and facilitate the interim project phasis with actual reporting tools while integrating new ways of reporting & enhancement processes.


This position is a great opportunity to work in an international environment, covering a wide scope within the group finance team, including consolidation and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, various analysis and implementation of the latest SAP technology.

Your day at Ferring

  • Support the forecasting & budgeting data collection processes and reporting to enable a timely and accurate forecasting financial information of the Ferring Group financial performance to Executive Management.
  • OneERP project : contribute to the SAP Group Reporting design and implementation while supporting other entities in the adoption of new ways of working & reporting.
  • Reporting/Consolidation: support the Consolidation and Reporting department in the monthly & yearly reporting and consolidation process including the validation and the consolidation of Sales, intercompany, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet and provide variance analysis and commentaries.
  • For year end and for some selected parts of the Yearly financial statements, interact with Group Auditors to ensure a full compliance of the Financial Statement with IFRS. Establish & carry out those notes of the Financial Statements and contribute to the review of the text and accuracy of the Financial Statements

Accounting Manual:
support the preparation of the Financial and Accounting Manual (F&A Manual that is used by all the Ferring finance community as the repository of financial reporting & processes), support the update linked to IFRS changes & SAP new processes into the F&A Manual

  • Carry out adhoc Analysis on group results with local entities.
  • Maintain and improve the financial data accesses through user accesses process review, financial reports improvements.
  • Support the subsidiaries regarding financial aspects and group reporting related questions

  • Qualified Accountant or Final degree in Business Economics/Accounting Management
  • 8 to 10 years relevant work experience within Reporting & consolidation and / or major external audit firm
  • Experience in systems implementation
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in multinational corporate structure
  • Knowledge of SAP and or consolidation tool
  • Demonstrated solid analytical capacity and understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes
  • Experience working with Power BI, Data cubes
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problemsolving, customer focus and collaboration skills are essential.
