Job Summary A Senior Software Architect expert in AWS-based infrastructures with a passion to push technology forward.Responsibilities Be an enabler for the development of advanced monitoring and control algorithms in the wind industryDesign, Implement, and Maintain an AWS based infrastructure that provides:Data storage for field test data for our shape sensorsA framework to accept and process measurement data files being uploaded by field test PCsA data analysis environment that enables our data engineers to prototype and validate algorithms Dashboarding of measurement and telemetry dataDevice management capabilities for PCs in the fieldProvide insights and recommendations based on data analysis using data visualization tools and presentationsWork with stakeholders to identify data needs and requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision makingDevelop and implement data security and privacy policies and proceduresBe up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in data analysis and infrastructure
Qualifications 5+ years experience with AWS servicesFamiliarity with modern cloud application architectureKnowledge of data analysisDegree in computer science, statistics, data science, or similarStrong proficiency in SQL and Python, or other programming languages used for data analysis and infrastructureExperience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI)Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance best practicesUnderstanding of databases and handling of large data sourcesProficient in MS OfficeExperience in implementing a service-oriented architectureHigh proficiency level in EnglishStrong analytical and statistical skillsComfortable being part of a teamAbility to work in an international, dynamic, and fast-growing businessProactive and responsibleTake ownership of deliverablesPrior experience in wind energy would be greatExperience training and managing teams would be a plus
