    DATA INTEGRATION – ARCHITECT

    Portuguese company hires for remote/hybrid work

    Description:

    API and Integration ArchitectSeniorWe are looking for the classic role of an integration architect, capable oftranslating the needs of our internal clients to an integration specification.This is not a development job, the colleague will be concentrated inintegration specifications. Developments or resolving incidents will not berequired. You can notice in the request, that no particular integrationtechnology is mentioned in the mandatory requirements. Integration knowledge,can be abstracted independently of the underlined technology used.

    Must have:
    - (Mandatory) Be proactive, enthusiastic, driven, taking ownership andaccountability in your work;
    - (Mandatory) Be critical, imaginative and challenge the "StatusQuo";
    - (Mandatory) Govern and maintain EDP's Global Integration Architecture (fromAPIs, Web Services, Events, ETL, Batch, Files, Data, etc);
    - (Mandatory) Design and develop technical architecture for integrationsolutions integration solutions to meet client needs and objectives;
    - (Mandatory) Assist the specification of integration test plans and scenarios;
    - (Mandatory) Maintain integration design documentation and technicalspecifications;
    - (Mandatory) Define and document integration patterns and best practices;
    - (Mandatory) Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews ofproject work including detailed technical specifications and application code

    Nevertheless, it can be useful some technological notions on current technologies.Again, the following knowledge is not mandatory but it will be used in case of a decision tie.

    - AWS (SQS, SNS, Kinesis)- Azure (Event Hubs, Service Bus, Event Grid)
    - Azure Data Factory
    - BMC Control-M
    - Google Pub/Sub

    - Oracle GoldenGate
    -Python

    Other:
    - The main objective of this position will be to create integrationspecifications for various initiatives;
    - All documentation necessary for good future governance of the solutions willbe mandatory.
