MISSION

Manage the teams under his/her supervision to ensure the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical formulas, according to the applicable procedures and defined goals.

MAIN ATTRIBUTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow and supervise manufacturing and packaging activities, under his/her responsibility, ensuring that the instructions and procedures are followed, the compliance of the products is achieved and optimizing the manufacturing capacity;
Ensure the team has adequate training to perform the assigned tasks, providing training, if necessary. Must promote and develop the versatility of team members.
Ensure the conformity (conservation state, organization, cleaning) of the infrastructure and equipment of the working site, soliciting an intervention of third parties if necessary, such as the maintenance team, validating occurred interventions;
Manage rigorously the material resources used in the manufacturing operations to ensure its correct use as specified;
Appraise the performance of employees under his/her responsibility, according to BIAL practices, ensuring a fair treatment, promoting a professional and personal development;
In case of a deviation or malfunction, during manufacturing and packaging stages, proceed according to the applicable procedures;
Review the Manufacturing Batch Dossier;
Collaborate in the documentation revision;
Ensure the fulfilment of the defined goals;
Collaborate and ensure implementation of the Continuous Improvement activities
Comply with the Quality, Environmental and R&D, Health and Safety Policies and Standards and Procedures;
Collaborate in all department activities as needed.

PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND FACTORS

Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar fields;
Minimum experience of 3 years in an industry, preferably the pharmaceutical, food, electronical or similar;
Solid computer skills;
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
B2;
GMP knowledge (preferred);
Experience with team management (preferred).
