Currently, we are looking for two different positions as Head of Procurement directly reporting to our Director of Global Procurement Sergio Lopez.

We are looking for

Head of Procurement Mattresses, focusing on constantly finding ways to improve our D2C supply chain and further develop our global sourcing strategy. The European mattresses division is our biggest spent account in procurement, managing the largest network supply chain and backbone for the growth of the company.

As well as

a Head of Procurement Retail, closely working with our retail sales and operations team, focusing on actively building our B2B supply chain. The challenge here is to meet our retail team needs in terms of high quality products, still keeping fast delivery conditions whilst achieving optimal costs and using synergies between D2C and Retail wherever possible.


Our vision is to create a global supplier network in the most lean and cost-efficient way to accelerate the growth of Emma and thus strengthen our competitive position on the market.

As well as passionate team leaders, who can easily identify strengths & weaknesses of a team, develop each individual and bring the team to the next level.


What you ́ll do:


  • You will be responsible to continue professionalizing the network securing building the optimal global sourcing setup for our products considering innovation capabilities, lean process and costoptimized structures.
  • You will need to understand global trends, identifying regions with beneficial sourcing options, analyzing and evaluating the opportunities, and having a full global understanding of the category.
  • You will build and have ownership of key supplier relationships building the longterm strategy and deciding with which partners to work with, thereby making a direct impact on the category and Emma's bottom line.
  • You will analyze cost break downs provided by the suppliers and understand the main cost drivers per category as well as market trends.
  • You will lead negotiations with our suppliers, including price, margin, exclusivity, and delivery terms.
  • You will develop risk mitigation strategies for the whole supply chain and create introduction and exit strategies for suppliers, ensuring the continuity of supply.
  • You will work together with internal teams such as Markets, Product Development, R&D, etc. to advance the categories' business agenda and drive strategic decisions.
  • You will work together with the rest of the Operations teams (Logistics, Replenishment, OPEX) improving the operational process as well as working hand in hand with Finance striving for healthy and strategical financial decisions.
  • As part of the Emma leading team, you need to create companywide impact outside of your area or responsibility contributing to the overall growth of the company.

  • You are able create value outside of operations and your scope, keeping a holistic overview on our overall business and contribute to cross team projects
