    Field Service Engineer (M/F)

    At Voltalia we are passionate about renewable energies We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution.Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients. We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.

    Our O&M Business Line is looking for a Field Service Engineer , who will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide fast on-site and remote troubleshooting, recommend and implement fault recovery solutions for production reestablishment;
  • Provide training and technical workshops to spread and consolidate maintenance competences and skills;
  • Carry out on-site specialized technical maintenance activities;
  • Carry out on-site technical assessments;
  • Provide technical reports and evidences to support claiming processes;
  • Participate in development of maintenance management processes and systems;
  • Participate in Integrated Commissioning & Start-up activities;
  • Produce technical documentation to support the maintenance activity;
  • Recommend study more effective and efficient maintenance practices and tools;
  • Disseminate good practices and standards;
  • Contribute to the develop of reliability studies and failures analysis;
  • Participate in monitoring and audit of implemented processes, procedures and activities.

    • REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • Degree or Master in Electrical or Electronics Engineering;
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance and/or commissioning of Solar PV or Wind power plants;
  • Experience in Medium and High Voltage maintenance;
  • Experience in power electronics (inverters) and automation fault detection techniques and troubleshooting;
  • Maintenance Management knowledge;
  • Experience in data acquisition and communications systems;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools;
  • Proficient in English reading/writing/speaking (mandatory);
  • Availability to travel abroad for limited periods and on short notice.
