    The opportunity We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic and hard-working professional, who is looking for a challenging career move, to join our ITTS team as a Manager.

    EY's ITTS practice works with multinational and national entities to design transaction strategies that meet their business, operational and financial objectives.

    This practice is a trusted business advisor to corporate and private equity clients on, among other services, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, internal restructurings, divestitures and capital markets transactions.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Delivery projects related with M&A, tax due diligences, transactions, integrations, internal restructurings, divestitures and capital markets transactions;
    • Advise on many of the high-profile transactions and deals for international and multinational companies;
    • Provide tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects for multinational and national companies;
    • Tax structuring of international transactions;
    • Review of requirements and foreign tax legislation;
    • Development of comprehensive strategies in international taxation;
    • Identify and answer to complex international tax issues;
    • Keeping abreast of current and emerging technical developments, legislative changes and developments in tax practice and explanation of their impact to clients;
    • Assume a professional, practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence;
    • Build and maintain relationships with our clients and provide high levels of client service;
    • Stay abreast of current tax, legal and business trends relevant to the client's business;
    • Contribute to the team's good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best result;
    • Develop and maintain long-term and trust client relationships and networks. Skills and attributes for success

    • Team management. To qualify for the role, you must have
    • Academic Degree in Economics, Management, Law or similar fields of study;
    • At least 5 years of professional experience in International Tax and/or Transaction Services;
    • Professional background consulting environment is really valued, mainly in Big4 companies;
    • Relevant knowledge about national corporate tax, tax due diligences and international tax (with the aim to focus on international and transaction tax services);
    • Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
    • Full English proficiency;
    • Availability to work in Portugal and abroad.
