    Founded at Stanford University, Walaris develops autonomous AI-based solutions focused on enhancing situational awareness. Our AirScout software platform uses artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and edge computing to detect, classify, and track unwanted drones in protected airspace. Our cutting-edge technology is utilized by commercial, government, and military users to increase airspace awareness in and around sensitive locations.

    Software Test Engineer are solving challenging development and operations problems using the latest technologies. They perform the highest quality checks throughout the development of software tools to generate optimal solutions. Together with our cross-functional and international teams, they work to exceed the expectations of our customers.

    For our offices in Lisbon or in Zagreb, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible:

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining software-based Test solutions for our real-time AI/ML image processing systems.
    • Continuously ameliorate SW-QA processes by enhancing the process requirements and metrics.
    • Ensure the optimization of the software tool chain to provide the best possible environment for our development team.
    • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to perform software risk management.
    • Implement automated integration and system tests.
    • Analyze software problems and propose solutions together with our cross functional team.

    Requirements

    • You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or a similar field, or vocational training as an IT specialist (Ausbildung zum/zur Fachinformatiker:in).
    • You are proficient with programming languages and bring excellent knowledge of Python.
    • You are familiar with Linux environments.
    • You have experience in integrating automated tests into a test framework.
    • You ideally have first-hand experience with GitLab pipelines, Docker, and Pytest. An ISTQB certification is a plus.
