    On the tech side, the goals for the coming 12-18 months include:

    Scale infrastructure and processes to get ready for larger traffic and more clients

    Move from a monolitical to a microservice architecture

    Build out AI use cases such as a recommender system to speed up the development of greener and compliant formulations

    We're headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, but operate globally. You'll be part of a growing, hungry, highly motivated, and open-minded team.

    Tasks

    For our next phase of growth, we are looking to add a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join the Lisbon engineering team.

    You will support the development team in filling know-how gaps in the area of DevOps and infrstructure and with this contribute to the overall sucess and growth of our platform.

    In this position, you will:

    • Create and implement architectural concepts for new features, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and agility.
    • Deploy services in cloud and maintain an efficient CI pipeline.
    • Enhance existing backend services by writing maintainable code, refactoring as needed, and implementing new features to meet evolving business needs.
    • Build bridges between the different areas of the development team to increase team efficiency.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

    Requirements

    We are looking for candidates with the following skills and values:

    • Outstanding degree in Computer Science or similar
    • 5+ experience in the SaaS product or marketplace field
    • Proven track record in full-stack development with focus on backend systems, as well as architectural design and implementation
    • Strong expertise in: Java and Spring Boot, Relational and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch), Cloud platforms (AWS), REST API design and development, Microservice architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Familiar with agile development approaches
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust flexibly to frequent context changes
    • Hands-on and solution-oriented attitude
    • Taking full ownership and accountability over your work
    • Ambition to grow within the company
    • Good communication skills
    • Team player with high integrity
    • Located in Lisbon or within a comfortable commute distance

    Our current platform is developed using Spring Framework, Elasticsearch, Postgresql, React, Typescript, Keycloak, AWS.
