    Job Description

    Devoteam is a leading tech native company that thrives on innovation and excellence. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our OutSystems Business Unit in Portugal, driving the strategic direction and growth of our OutSystems practice in Portugal.     Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the OutSystems Business Unit, aligning it with the overall goals of the company.

    Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding the OutSystems practice within existing and new markets.

    Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of OutSystems developers and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

    Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, provide OutSystems solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.

    Project Oversight: Oversee the successful delivery of OutSystems projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and within budget.

    Partnership Development: Establish and nurture partnerships with OutSystems and other relevant technology providers to enhance our capabilities and offerings.

    Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands related to OutSystems and low-code development.

    Business Unit and Financial Performance Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the business unit's financial goals and objectives. Monitor and analyse key financial performance indicators, providing regular reports to senior management. Identify and implement cost optimization measures while ensuring the quality and efficiency of operations. Create accurate budget forecasts and financial plans for the OutSystems Business Unit.

    Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategy

    Risk Management: Assess and manage risks associated with the business unit's operations, projects, and financial activities. Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the business unit's financial health.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading OutSystems or similar low-code development teams.
  • Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform, including development best practices, architecture, and integration capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and client engagement within the OutSystems ecosystem.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
