    Located in the heart of Lisbon, our historic Hotel wears the cultural heart and soul of Portugal on its sleeve.

    Inside,- deco sensibilities mingle with an updated Louis XVI style, and a collection of important contemporary local artwork fills our halls.

    Outside, views of the city's rolling hills and brightly tiled exteriors spread out before you.

    After spending the day exploring the city sights, many just steps from the Hotel, we invite you for a seasonally inspired, Michelin-starred gastronomic experience at CURA restaurant.

    About the roleWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of People and Culture to join our Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon team in Portugal This role reports to our General Manager, with a dotted reporting line to the Regional Director of People and Culture, and will be responsible for leading the People, Culture, and Learning strategy and execution for the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon; providing People, Culture and Learning support with the overall goal being that the hotel is perceived as the Employer of Choice in your destination.

    What you will doYou will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule in every employee action in your hotel and responsibilities will include championing top talent and actively supporting succession planning, supporting the hotel as a Business Partner, fostering relationships with others as a coach, supporting and driving Corporate People and Culture initiatives, actively supporting recruitment, selection, onboarding and development requirements, evaluating the effectiveness of People and Culture programs and initiatives and analyzing compensation and benefits trends to ensure a balance between cost and employee experience.

    You will also be responsible for developing the learning quality and experience on property; delivering workplace learning and development, performance improvement programs, and initiatives to best achieve- term business success.

    What you bringPassion for people, talent management, and learning, and will be a Business Partner; strategic, strong business acumen, understanding of operational needs, and the ability to contribute to key strategies and operational decisions for the hotel, a catalyst for change and an employee champion.
