    Description
    Efficio's Managers/Senior Managers lead our engagements with clients. They have overall responsibility for ensuring that the objectives of the engagement are achieved, and client expectations are met.

    These Managers/Senior Managers set the strategic direction for the engagement and work with Consultants and other team members to ensure each project workstream is strategically aligned.

    While they must maintain a 'big picture' view, they must also have a good understanding of the detail within each individual workstream.


    This candidate will have both an external and an internal focus.

    Externally, they must build deep relationships with senior client stakeholders to ensure they are fully engaged with the project and the proposed solutions.

    They are also responsible for identifying additional business development opportunities, both within the engagement and beyond.

    Internally, our Managers/Senior Managers are responsible for leading, challenging and motivating their team to continually deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.

    They act as a sounding board for team members, challenging ideas and guiding the development of strategic solutions. They are responsible for building a positive, collaborative, and high-performing culture within their project teams.

    They also have a key role in developing more junior team members, providing coaching, and mentoring to help develop their consulting skills and capabilities.


    Efficio Managers/Senior Managers enjoy a great deal of autonomy and responsibility for the success of client engagements.

    It's a demanding role where the ability to work effectively under pressure, and the willingness to take responsibility and challenge yourself is paramount.

    Highly developed interpersonal, leadership, strategic and analytical skills are also essential.

    Essential RequirementsSubstantial prior relevant management consulting experience within a leading consultancy within procurement and supply chain, ideally with some previous experience in Business Development

    • An exemplary academic background
    • Functional knowledge in the areas of strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, supply chain
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Travel flexibility required
    • Fluency in English is essential
    • Experienced project manager, including planning, execution, and risk management
    • Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments both independently and as part of a team
    • Demonstrated people management skills, including coaching of both consultants and client staff
    • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levelsDesirable Requirements-Fluency in another European language (Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian)

    Responsabilidades da função:
    Os Managers/Senior Managers da Efficio lideram os projetos com os nossos clientes.

    Eles têm a responsabilidade geral de garantir que os objetivos do projeto são alcançados e as expectativas do cliente são atendidas.

    Estes Managers/Senior Managers definem a direção estratégica do projeto e trabalham com consultores e outros membros da equipa para garantir que cada etapa do projeto está estrategicamente alinhada.

    Embora precisem manter uma visão geral, eles também devem ter uma boa compreensão dos detalhes em cada etapa individual do projeto.


    O candidato terá um foco tanto externo quanto interno.

    Externamente, deve construir relacionamentos sólidos com os principais stakeholders do cliente para garantir que eles estão completamente alinhados com o projeto e as soluções propostas.

    Será também responsável por identificar oportunidades adicionais , tanto dentro do projeto como fora.

    Internamente, os nossos Managers/Senior Managers são responsáveis por liderar, desafiar e motivar a sua equipa para constantemente entregar aos nossos clientes os melhores resultados possíveis.

    Eles atuam como mentores para a restante equipa, desafiando ideias e aconselhando no desenvolvimento de soluções estratégicas. São também responsáveis por criar uma cultura positiva, colaborativa e de alta performance dentro das equipas do projeto.

    Têm, também, um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento de membros juniores da equipa, dando treino e mentoria para ajudar no desenvolvimento das suas habilidades e capacidades de consultoria.

    Os Managers/Senior Managers da Efficio desfrutam de grande autonomia e responsabilidade pelo sucesso dos nossos projetos com os clientes.

    É uma função exigente em que a capacidade de trabalhar efetivamente sob pressão e a disposição para assumir responsabilidades e desafiar-se a si mesmo são fundamentais.

    Competências e experiência requeridas:

    • Experiência substancial em consultoria de gestão relevante numa consultoria líder em procurement e supply chain, de preferência com alguma experiência anterior em Business Development
    • Excelente formação académica
    • Conhecimento funcional nas áreas de sourcing estratégico, procurement transformation e supply chain
    • Excelente capacidade de resolução de problemas
    • Flexibilidade para viajar é necessária
    • Essencial ser fluente em inglês
    • Dominio de português ou outro idioma europeu é desejável
    • Experiência como Project Manager, incluindo planeamento, execução e gestão de riscos
    • Capacidade demonstrada para trabalhar em ambientes complexos, tanto de forma independente como parte de uma equipa
    • Experiência provada na gestão de pessoas, incluindo orientação de consultores e equipa do cliente
    • Forte comunicador com capacidade de influenciar stakeholders de todos os níveis
