- coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes
- developing financial models to aid decision-making
- periodic reporting for senior management, including providing analysis and insights that link financial reports to business strategies
- delivering financial literacy training to staff
- improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
- reviewing client accounts and projects to identify risks and underperformance of finances early
- undertaking due diligence research on acquisitions and mergers
- communicating opportunities for improvement
- developing and maintaining relationships across the business
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or economic field.
- +6 years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance
- professional qualifications, including completing an internationally recognized accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA.
- experience working with business requirements
- ability to make complex decisions and rationalize them according to others
- strong analytical skills, ability to work with a large amount of information
- strong knowledge of Excel
- ability to work independently and proactively manage upcoming deliverables.
- strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities with individual colleagues, relevant teams, and senior management and board members
- strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
- experience working with financial software is a plus
